If 2 J12Ls are used bass, Bill suggests the top one be full range and the bottom is woofer only.
With that in mind, with both being Melded Arrays, on the bottom unit, can I put a switch on the jack plate to not use the Melded Array or a separate jack to run the woofer direct with no crossover? Or is there a better way to wire this?

Yep. Simple. Just run the wire going to the + side of the array through the switch.nola50 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 11:02 am If 2 J12Ls are used bass, Bill suggests the top one be full range and the bottom is woofer only.

Don't switch the array, switch the input to the high pass filter.
Re: J12L Turning Off Melded Array for Woofer only
Just an SPST should do it on the High Pass Filter "+" , correct?
This leaves the low pass filter active?
