I hear ya. I have a Go Bag for guitar gigs and a Go Bag for PA work. And the most important tool I have stays in my truck every day of the year - my fan!

Well, duh.....who'd ya' think I was talkin' about?

I have two Lasko fans. One in the trailer, one in my pickup. I also have a Ryobi battery fan that's used for iPad gigs where there's no power out front. Have a nice, big folding chair with a swing up table on the side. Fan sits on there and blows right at my head. Even has a cup holder.

Just can't do much outside here in Texas without a fan for about 8-9 months of the year.

Since it's 2:45am, might as well keep chatting.....

Tested positive for Covid for the third time yesterday afternoon. Based on the timing, must have gotten it Sat night or Sunday afternoon at our weekend gigs.

My wife had a perscription for Paxlovid that she took to Italy with her last fall, so I started taking it right away. Not feeling terribly bad, just the danged cough that won't stop.

Only thing I hate as much an incessant cough is not being able to breath through my nose due to massive nasal cavity congestion. Every time that happens I say to myself, I've got to remember to be grateful I can breath when it's not congested. (inhales, exhales) Ahhh, that's great!

I hear ya'. Covid is just the icing on the cake. I've had a cough for two months. Doc says it's allergies. Cedar has been extremely high this year.

I thought my cough was just getting worse yesterday morning, but then by late afternoon I was feeling worse and worse, then the light bulb went off....I pretty much knew I had it before I tested. The feeling was pretty familiar after having had it twice.

Oh well, I woke up on the right side of the dirt this morning......so, there's that.

I feel for you Bruce. I got my second round just before last Christmas. Bye bye Christmas dinner with my family. Again. I hope you get better soon, with no long lasting after effects.

Thanks.

My first time around was actually on Christmas morning. My son and his wife has just gotten in the day before and they got to turn around and drive 4 hours back home.

My second time was just prior to this past Christmas and I wasn't going to be able to join my folks for our usual celebrations. But then, they both came down with it too! So, I joined them after all! Hahaha

What if I'm upset that you deleted the original post? Huh?
