Hi
I have the older style box where the tweeter array is part of the woofer chamber. Has anyone ever used spray foam to make the array more ridged and prevent air leaks.
This array has been in service for over 14 years approximate guess. Starting to show some cracking at the joints.

Wow, good guess! 14 years ago... Long Time Coming T24-16" DR200
I like the idea of stiffening an array up with spray foam. I haven't built a bunch yet, but the sections of 6 or so elements I've constructed with model cement and backed the joints with slurry feel surprisingly rigid. I wonder if applying a thick slurry wouldn't do a better job of sealing while adding stiffness, assuming you didn't use a slurry in your initial assembly. Just thinking out loud, thought sharing.
For some reason I feel compelled to ask for a couple pics of the whole array and closeups of the questionable area/s.
