Finished my first BFM cabinet, a Eminence Delta15 / 1177 piezo loaded OTop 15. Tested it in the living room in my apartment, probably not to my neighbours pleasure but the weather was bad outside, using a mono bridged NAD C370 home stereo amp, running full range, so close to 300W rms.
First impression: D*mn this thing is loud! and very clear sound. Definately needs some eq though, a boost in the midrange and a slight lowering in the 8-15k range should do it. So after finishing the second OTop 15 finding a good equalizer (for a good price) is top priority.
Anyway, it's a very nice design and considering its my first real woodworking project ever it went together pretty easily. It took me about 20 hours over a period of four days to build, and i'm sure the second box will go together alot quicker.
