Possible european source for definimax 4012HO
Possible european source for definimax 4012HO
The definimax 4012HO seems to be hard to find here in europe but I found a possible source at http://www.velleman.be/ot/en/product/view/?id=366902. There is no price on the webpage but a swedish dealer that gets the driver from velleman lists it at 2065 SEK (~219€ or ~299$). Expensive maybe, but probably still cheaper than ordering them from the US.

I'm probably going for a pair of T30s, not sure about width or single/double driver config yet. I'm still in early stages of planning. Also, I have to finish my second OT15 first. Will have a look at those other drivers aswell, if i can find them at a reasonable price here up north.
At least finding good quality baltic birch ply isnt a problem here, I live on an island in the baltic sea after all

T30 is a big and ungainly box. Mine is 27" wide, and the squat cube isn't particularly friendly to move about. A dual-driver box would be MUCH worse.
Do you want T30 because you are doing DJ (recorded) music?
If not, the Titan series is better optimized for live music. It doesn't go down as low, but is more efficient in the live bass power band. They are also a damn site easier to move about.
My T39 is about the size of an Ampeg 610HLF bass cab. And just over half the weight of the Ampeg. I could move the Ampeg around without assistance, but getting it up stairs or onto an elevated stage was a two-person operation.

My biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them.
