So... Has anyone ever pitched an Omni 12 Tallboy against a fearless F112?
I originally asked this privately, but was advised to ask via the forum.....
So.... Does an Omni hold its own against Greenboy's finest?
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has experience (but not holding my breath as it seems very few people have actually built the Omni tallboy - especially here in the UK)
Thanks

Re: Fight!
I don't think you'll get many responses to this, so I'll throw in some observations.
I reckon the only way you would get the fight is for 2 different people to have built the 2 cabs between them, and go from there.
Most would decide one or the other, not build both.
I think, with the 2512 for the Omni TB, and fearless 12 uses the 3012LF, so expect; given someone was driving a fearful with a 1000W amp, the fearful would dig a little lower and would be louder...

Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Re: Fight!
The O12 can use a 3012LF as well. The woofer front wave is horn loaded, and it has a horn loaded mid driver. That means louder. The O12 is considerably larger, meaning it will go lower. If you're looking for something comparable to the F112 it would be the Simplexx 12.
