. Would that have much of an effect if my rack is open in the front and back when it's in use?
When amps are staked up on top of each other with different airflows, the hot air from one gets sucked into the cool air intake from the other creating a constant hot air flow through the amps.
And by the way, your amps should always be uncovered front and back when in operation.

I'm surprised you were able to hold out a whole 4 hours. That's Jedi level shit right there. LOL
Haha. In the military we call that "high speed hold" or "hurry up and wait."
It comes from being ready for anything at any time. I was ready to peel the paint in the house so I went to Amazon and placed the order. I don't mind waiting. I just don't like knowing what the potential ship date will be. And normally Full Compass is far more helpful but they blew me off the three times I tried to get information. I ordered those Monday, BTW.

Thanks for the amp info. I'm always keeping my eyes open for good gear deals. Ill probably end up buying what I need on the used market at some point.
With that said, I've read several reports about the Crown XTI series going in for some repairs. The last crown amps I owned were XLS 2500 and 5000 but I never had an issue with them. Anyone have insight on XTI reliability?
I was really only thinking about having a reliable amp with DSP at a decent price. But since I have a DBX PA2 I probably don't NEED amps with DSP as well.

I have an XTi 2000 sitting in the garage..... I tried it on subs, but it tended to clip at full volume...my limiter is set at 56 volts under the old 60 volt plans. So, I went to the bridged XLS1500s - running two each. Never had a problem with these and two of them are about the same weight as one XTi.
You can pick up the original model XLS1500 for pretty cheap on the used market.
And you are right....why pay for DSP if you have a driverack?

I got a XTi2002 I'm trying to sell. Bought it for $60 because it doesn't even turn on (very common). For the price to repair it I could buy a used working one, but how long would that last? I'm currently running XLS' and have had nothing but good things to say about them.

That's good feedback. Thanks, Jimbo.

Mine have a sticker on the back like the one on the left, but I don't remember if it said what model or not.
Weight them. Looking at the pdf for both, it looks like the LF is 1/2 pound heavier and has a little bit taller magnet sticking out the heatsink fins. The one on the top looks taller than the right.

Behringer has absolutely put an unrealistic number on their amplifiers and I don't trust their ratings either.
I finally pulled out my manual on my iNUKE NU3000DSP and checked out the specs.
Max power /channel 8 ohm 440w RMS 280w
4 ohm 820w 570w
2 ohm 1520 1100w
bridged 8 ohm 1520w 1100w
4 ohm 300w 2100w

So if my NX3000D is the same guts at yours then I could expect 47.75 VAC RMS. Not too shabby I think. I could probably live with that.

I ordered the Black rubberized CA glue, the Oatey ABS cement along with Oatey all purpose cleaner, and what looks to be traditional plastic model cement https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013D53CS.
I'm going to try all of them, including the melt cut offs in PVC cement (already have some of that), and also melt cutoffs in acetone methods.
Still probably a couple weeks or more out from starting the project, but I'll try all 5 gluing methods and report back the results and my personal opinions.
