T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Got the first two coats of Duratex on the bottom and sides this morning.....gonna' let it dry and flip it over for the top to get a few coats.....then it will be time to button it up.

I'm pretty sure that the 3 T39's and 2 Otops per side that I stack are just barely heavier than the old TKO...

Between last night and today, about three coats of Duratex have found a home.....

Mike and I are off to provide sound for a monthly Country Music show tonight. Hopefully, the pieces will start to come together tomorrow and will be making sound by Thursday.

I don't know where I went wrong in life, as I don't appear to have friends who say, "sure, I'll build you a top class bass cab."

Mike works with me in my sound company and honestly, I wouldn't even do bigger shows at all if not for him. Plus, he's a hell of a drummer in our band and is an all-around good guy....

Not to mention, I haven't made any speaker-related sawdust in a while....so, it was time.

Okay, got a little work done yesterday before I had to go play some Rockin' Blues last night with The Homebodies....Three Les Pauls, tube amps, and two beautiful ladies singing.....oh, and drums and bass...

Got the foam installed....a old mattress topper and a spray can of adhesive.....

Once that was done, I put together the amp and added the feet and corners..

Put in the speaker and put on the back cover in order to find the center point for the handle. The plans were right on - it lined up right on the baffle. Took the back off and the speaker back out to install the handle.

One thing that's always been a PITA on my past cabs was trying to attach the crossover to the cab....trying to use a short enough screw to not punch through the cab....This time I added two little 1/2" blocks to use for securing the crossover. So easy.....don't know why I didn't do this before - now there's plenty of room for a decent screw. (insert pun here)....

Okay....time for a wrap up....

Mike thought we were using the Black Widow......but, that's just too damned heavy. So, we got him a 2515 to put in there.

Installed with 1/4" Lag screws with flat washers and lock washers.

Then it was time to slap on the back with 32 screws spaced every 2 1/2".

And voila!
