Notches in 1016s

#1 Post by climbikejk »

Quick question -- how "bad" are these notches in 1016s? When they're glued to adjacent 1016s, are these gaps going to be significant/create air gaps or when they're placed on speaker foam will these gaps not matter?

Thanks

Cut down to size as recommended I doubt those gaps will remain.

The notches on tweeters B, C, and D are after being cut (A is uncut). (Probably should have said that initially)

Are you building an SLA? Those tweets are likely okay, and, if not, you could add some adhesive mixed with your cut-offs and carefully fill the holes in. Use masking/painters tape to create a "form".
