Another influential rocker bites the dust.

What an amazing bassist, songwriter and group leader this guy was.

There might be a total of a dozen bass players who when I first heard them all I could say was "Holy Shit!". Chris was one of them.

Sad.
Always have some time to listen to some Yes...
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

True, the rest were really into fusion and what I call artsy-fartsy rock. Musically adept, but lacking of the balls that makes rock what it is. Without what Chris contributed I don't see them having reached anywhere near the level of success that they did.
I saw Jon Anderson doing his single act a few years ago, and all I could hear in my head was the missing bass lines. Interesting aside: With respect to the lyrics, Jon admitted that he really didn't know what the hell they meant, and he wrote them.
