I just found out Behringer is now owner of Lab Gruppen, etc. Well, not Behringer specifically but rather, Music Group. Soon Behringer will own aaaallll the things.

That may work out OK, but the experience of Loud Technologies shows how badly things can go wrong when successful engineering driven companies are taken over by conglomerates run by beancounters.
