My question for today is: Does the NU-6000 put out 60v per side?
I know what they advertise, but I want to know what they actually do.

Re: Behringer NU-6000
The nu6000-4 doesn't, and it's supposed to be the same amp section.
Ipr3000 does do 60v at about the same weight and price.

99% of the time, things that aren't already being done aren't being done because they don't work. The other 1% is split evenly between fools and geniuses.

Re: Behringer NU-6000
I thought the NU-6000-4 was two NU-3000's in one box.
Built:

Re: Behringer NU-6000
And the NU-6000 is 2x bridged 3000s in a box
I'd assume they have their chosen amp chip pushed to the limit, and are just selling different configurations of it
Also, no PFC on these amps - could be a big deal if your power is limited (probably even moreso for the 120v users than us on 240v)
Big writeup on another forum showing measurements and comparisons to other amps, but I'll let someone else dig up that link
Good for the money... but, many buts...
