Hello from Buda, TX
My name is Jake Jarmon and I'm very excited to start building my BFM collection! I am a musician and a tinker/thinker as my wife says, I love to get my hands dirty and do it myself. I am currently getting set up to do full on surround sound outdoor movie theaters for hire and think the high efficiency of these designs will allow me to do WAY more with what will most definitely be power starved locations. I will probably buy all of the plans for a cool $100. The guitar cab really interests me, I have an original deluxe reverb that the cab is shot so I want to build a combo with the amp. I hope to learn a lot more than I already have over the last few months perusing the forums. We should set up a BFM builders/owners meeting once a year for us TX boys lol.

Allowing substitution of DJ for musician in a number of cases and you could probably use this description to describe 90% of the people here. In other words you should fit in well. Re: Hello from Buda, TX
I DJ as well. My current job is anything that pays lol, and staying home with my 1 year old daughter. I've been using Virtual DJ Pro for years doing karaoke and school dances, some festivals. This will be my first personal system with seperate tops/subs and I can't wait to hear what the xfcab will sound like.

The outdoor surround cinema setup idea sounds (arf!) like a really cool idea... If you do end up doing this please post a thread about your adventures!
