Looking at the two possible scenarios. . .If the first driver opens before it shorts, the second driver would be preserved. If, however, it shorts before it opens, the second driver could also be damaged.

As prompted in another thread... did the T48 and/or T60 get the nod for these drivers?

Usual rules apply I assume:

In T48: QTS is ONLY JUST too high, everything else in spec (so OK, I'd assume)
In T60: FS is a bit too high; VAS is a little too low; QTS is way too high = bad! (probably)

Notice that there a lot of assumptions here (and we all know about her offspring!)

+1. Those specs are skewed for use in a sealed sub, probably for auto sound.
