In contrast I just did an outdoor band party with 4-T48x30x3015 with 3 Jack12's per side (with DeltaPro12A's) and it sounded absolutely astonishing. I would have never reached for the Simplexx for that situation.
And that was for bass guitar???? 8)

Gonna take a WAG and say about 32lb. Feels feather light to pick up. No reason to build 2 singles when it’s this light unless pack space is an issue. This is truly a one size fits any situation bass cab assuming you have PA support in the largest settings. She stands proud without PA support even in big clubs. I’ve never felt like it was running out. I rarely run my bass past this box since I don’t care much for the sound of bass in the subs, just kick. At least for the music I play.

For mids and highs compared to the Jack with the array switched off, there are more than enough in my opinion even for treble oriented players, which I am not. I’m P-bass, tone knob about half, fingers. I recently had an amazing local bass player try this out at a Music Industry Jam Night I host. He plays a beat to crap 64 Pbass that is so dried out it hardly weighs anything, sounds supernatural, plays very loud with a pick, tone knob full. I can attest it can be played too loud all by itself (not in PA) in a good size room. I was holding my ears with the highs from the pick attack. It played louder than I ever thought it could go and didn’t break a sweat as far as I could tell. You absolutely do not need a high freq driver of any kind for bass guitar.

The fundamental for low B is not audible itself as far as I know so you’re only going to feel it, which you do. The overtones are all there of course. I’m back on 4 string so no low B for me but I played many o gig with my StingRay5 and it never complained.

For an internal picture nothing can beat your Sketchup model.

Cool...this cab sounds interesting. Do you think it would work well for acoustic guitar too?

My guess would be that it would not sound good for an acoustic guitar. It would sound like you're playing your acoustic guitar through a bass cabinet.

Where did you get the wire mesh for the grills?

Grills are cut from 22x30 blanks from PE. Part # 262-888

I used a 36" stomp shear to cut them to shape.

That is a seriously beautiful cab. I really like the grills and how you used the automotive trim on their edges. I would imagine it would be neigh impossible to cut those grills without a metal shear. I have tried cutting grills by hand with tinsnips (forget about it!) and with an angle grinder you don't get the precision. Still, I may have to build one of these cabs.

I built a 15/3/1 fEARful and quickly found out I didn't need the tweeter (my style runs similar to yours; neck PU, treble halfway off). So the rheostat for the tweeter has been OFF since about Day 3. I also found that the 6" mid-driver, while being able to take your head off when used with a fuzz pedal, doesn't do much for the 60's/70's rock I mostly play.

BTW, I assume there is a crossover in this box, even though you don't use a tweet section?

I may be building one of these. If it looks anything like yours I'll be quite happy.

GREAT JOB!
