Jack 112 Build

#1 Post by Carter Bond »

So my Dad ordered me some Jack 112 plans and we built it together! :hyper: I thought I would put up some pictures but a lot of them are too big for the website so here is a link. http://imgur.com/a/7UGdT#12 Just go through them if you don't mind. It was a fun experience to do. Thank you Leland @Speaker Hardware for helping my Dad and I pick a Cab to build. Also heres a link to the instructables page for step by step. http://www.instructables.com/id/Buildin ... -Bass-Cab/ :feedback:

That! is the first close-up of a stained Jack (as far as I can remember). Kudos on the build!

I really like the stained/poly look. Fine looking cab and a really nice father/son project. I hope to do these things with my son as he gets older. He's almost 5 now, but knows how to use a cordless drill. :D

Looks pretty good.

You might want to reconsider that Instructables page. Bill has worked hard to give us all his great designs and we wouldn't want to give away his secrets.

There are no measurements in those instructions and contains about the same amount of details as a build thread.

I know, but some of these builds make me squeamish in that some people are giving away too much info. The crossover is what set off a red flag for me. I'd just like to keep our club protected from copy-cats and false info.

The only thing he ought to take out is the list of crossover components.....the pics are all ok, you can't see the values in those pictures.

And without measurements......it would be tough to duplicate.

And anyone who would go to the trouble of trying to build one from those pictures with no plans to save $15....well, I say go for it. The frustration will kill 'em.

6 - T39 3012LF
4 - OT12 2512
1 - T24
1 - SLA Pro
2 - XF210
