I also rented out my flat array DR 250's to a guy thats using his own sub (s),some Yamaha dual 18's.He only had one in the venue and after i turned my DR's on i told him he had a choice,i can turn my DR's down or he can go get his other sub out of his trailer, then we wont have to turn the DR's down "as much",but they still gotta be turned down

Re: SLA Pro/T48
I rented out my SLA Pro's and 2 T-39's last night for a party downtown Detroit last night at a club with some powered mackies with blown horns and no subs. The capacity of the club is 150 people, but they will let in as many as they can get.The later the night goes the more it costs to get in,up to $50.The promoter of the event wants a rental from me every Sunday now,of course i got plenty of compliments on the sound.T-39's were wall loaded,no room for V Plating. The SLA Pro's are the talk of the town amongst DJ's in our Detroit DJ's Facebook group,ESPECIALLY since the DJ for the event was one of Detroits most popular DJ's.I feel a herd of about 6 more SLA Pro's in my future.

Great review. Now I'm in a quandary; SLA PRO or DR200?
DJ, since you have both SLA & DR, which would you deploy under different circumstances & why? How would you compare the two, knowing the 250 is louder. Guessing the 200 would be louder too.
Thanks.

Re: SLA Pro/T48
DR200 does with one eight what SLA pro takes four sixes to do. SLA Pro is a much easier build and has a more compact form. Those are the main differences.kekani wrote:Great review. Now I'm in a quandary; SPA PRO or DR200?

Re: SLA Pro/T48
For smaller to medium sized venues i'm loving the SLA Pro's as they will do the job along with t-39's or a single T-48.I like the fact that they sound good with minimum or limited EQ.They really work for small rentals too because i can fit all i need in my Jeep Liberty.
When bigger sound is needed i bring out the DR's and T-48's.
