Hello all,
I was given a DSP2024 and I am not sure if I can use it.
This is what I have for equipment.
Behringer XENYX 1002B Mixer
Drive Rack Pro PX
GTD Wireless mics
Crown XTI1002
Behringer EP2500
and now DSP2024P.
OK what do I use this for? Mainly it is to be used at work as a PA system for presentations an open houses. I occasionally use it to play DJ at parties for friends and some Karaoke.
Where in the signal line would I put the DSP2024P? Would it go between mixer and DBX or between the Wireless Mics and mixer?
Thanks in advance,
Oscar

That device is an effects processor....reverb, delay, etc.
It would be used as an insert on an individual channel or via an aux send/return to use on multiple channels. It has no real use in the signal chain past past the mixer.
In the applications that you listed, other than putting some reverb on the vocals for karaoke or announcing, you won't be using it a lot.

No....run it as an aux send and return from the board or use an insert cable. I'm guessing, but I'd bet that the input is live level - not mic level.y2kindyz wrote:Thank you Bruce,
