Yeah, rub it in Harley! I'm a messy worker :cussing:

In fact - trying to turn the negative into a positive - can I possibly get a Harley No-Star award? My messiness is possibly the best I have seen on here. You really should be asking yourself "How the hell did he ever make something that looks and sounds so good when he was disadvantaged with such a messy garage - he must be a miracle worker"!

I do not have the courage to show zoom-out pictures of the room I work in. It would earn me a -5 Harley award if there were such a thing. I am working on it though. Recently I have made a rack to store my clamps above the workbench, love it. My hat off to Absynthe, Harley and his dad. You people are inspiring, hoping to have room for a proper shop one day.

Harley, that's a good story, I'll pass that one along. Funny, my dad had lots of woodworking tools, but you had to climb over piles of other tools to get to them. Pretty sure I had something to do with that. :D While the power tools were always nice, his choice in hand tools always killed me - keep in mind I was too young to know any better... I rebuilt an MGB and the only sockets I had available were from a couple of KMart kits. Picture assembling a car where every socket up to 3/4 used a 1/4 inch drive

Made some progress last week. PL is everywhere of course. Finally found a use for two those free Harbor Freight multimeters

Progress up to last night photos are below. Also included photo of messy shop Egad! And, my $20 router table find. I had to order $25 in parts from Rockler, but this thing works like a champ.

Last install was a brace, what a mess as that thing is warped...so had to shoot brads clean through it, looks like a 5 year old went crazy with a nailgun and tube of PL. Anyway, on to the photos...
