thanks for a good looking build, lots of side bar discussion but for the record,
How much do you think it weighs?

I'd guestimate in the region of approx 40 lbs ... ish.

Probably didn't like being bent 2 ways! I wonder if water would help or ruin it?

Looking at this pic I might have cut too deep. Should have kept the last 2 plies untouched perhaps?
Did this yesterday for a test. Cut through just leaving the top ply. I let it sit wet for about 30 minutes, just sprayed the top with a spray bottle. Worked perfectly. I'll fill the gap in the back with PL and make a brace nub that fits to the back of the baffle.
Leland, Ian:
Have either of you made an actual bent-1 piece- baffle yet for a working speaker? If so, did you put the cut on the back of the baffle or the front? Any pics or lessons learned from it? I am re-doing my curved SLA with different drivers and am considering it.

If I wanted a curved SLA, I would start with bending ply and glue three sheets together whilst clamped against two pre-cut curves, top and bottom.

With a router template for the driver size, I would route out a flat portion for mounting.
