T18 / small garden

#1 Post by negon »

Just wanted to show my Tuba 18 build, made it in to a small garden for my apartment :)
I didn't have a sub before, so sound is very much improved with my Adam A5X speakers.

I like it a lot!
If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.

I read on an audiophile website that plants on your subwoofer reduce harmonic distortion but they have to be special plants, ordinary plants won't work.

That stems from the fact they have to have roots that grow bass ackwards, at least that's the dirt I've been told.

This must go on the T18 page. All other T18 photos are officially :owned: , and should be :chainsaw:.

Thanks a lot for the nice responds.
My girlfriend is experimenting with what plants to grow, my original plan was to plant some herbs, but I don't think it's deep enough.

It's possible to take the garden of, for easy cleaning.

Another idea was to try and put very fine grain sand on the sub, and maybe it would take (wave) form from the vibes :)

That's really cool. Now I'll make one with a fish tank on top.
