Jack 15 Hat Placement

I'm 80% through a Jack 15 build. I am using a Delta Pro 15A driver which is 19.7 pounds. I believe that where the current Hat placement is would pull the stands balance toward the back.

Will there be any effect to the sound of the speaker if the hat is backed up behind the port into the rear chamber as long as it doesn't touch the driver?

Thanks Bill. I'm going to check the balance after I install the driver, handles, back plate to see where on the bottom the hat would need to be placed and whether it will effect the driver.
