I'd recommend the TTLS they're not as big as all that and I've seen some beautiful designs. Stood in a corner out the way if possible for best output.

Lab 12 would need to go in T30/39/45/48 T60 or THTLP

If I wanted to fire a THTLP down could it be done? How much space between the mouth and floor would be required? Has this been done before?

I should really check the plans before-

You may put the THTLP upright aimed at the ceiling, or on 16 to 24 inch legs aimed at the floor. :slap:

Yes, it's been done before, just screw it to the wall. A few legs would be beneficial for stability.

12" from the mouth to the floor should be ok.

If this is for a restaurant, a THTLP or TTLS isn't exactly the best option. It'd work but there aren't many advantages in this use because either one reaches far lower than you really want/need for a restaurant and as such they are bigger than a comparable pro-sub and you won't gain anything useful from it. T24's or even multiple T18's would work fine unless you're planning on reaching club levels, in which case T39's are the better option.
