The question has to be asked, why are you driving a Focus offroad? :slap:

Fix Or Repair Daily.

A ford killed in a ford. Sad, but poetic.

Hope you get sorted soon. We have a good cheap mechanic who spends some love on our 2005 Galaxy. He hates the galaxy, especially, but its our stray dog and we are smitten. 6 speed box, 115HP diesel - pure cruising joy.

I have a Hertz Rental Car Gold Member card.

There is one stipulation on my account details.....NO FORDS!

Until you've driven one of these you really can't complain about shitty cars...

Image

It was utterly terrifying at anything above 20mph and that poorly built that the doors had to be held closed at over 40mph because they were that flimsy and poorly sealed. If even a cyclist hit you you're dead. The thing was a tin foil framed rollerskate with a 600cc engine.

Now that's a car with character. Was it yours?

I would mourn the passing of such a vehicle.

I've driven this, it was a similar experience.

There has even been a turbo charged version of that car. Talking about death traps

It was an ex-girlfriend's car. She went through cars as quickly as she did men... She had 3 cars in the 12 or so months I was seeing her and that little thing is still probably sat at the back of her parent's place rotting for when she kills another car. It will no doubt be resurrected, it was a complete shitbox but it just wouldn't die.

That looks like my old '83 Toyota Tercel, except mine was orange and had more rust. My heel wore a hole in the floorboard under the gas pedal, so I could look down and see the highway as I was going along.

I couldn't kill that car if i tried. If anything went wrong, just a quick carb rebuild is all it took and it was ready to go again. My last adventure with it was during hurricane Ike. It was the hurricane buggy to get to and from the last bar open in town before the storm hit.

It disappeared from outside my apartment shortly after that. I still miss it.

Guys....Guys!

If you're talking about shitty, dangerous, unreliable rust buckets you haven't seen anything if you haven't had to deal with one of these Image
The "Hillman IMP" ! :wall: :chainsaw: :cussing:

A girlfriend I had for 4 years bought one of these. My mates teased me that I spent more time under that car than I did under her

I appreciate the love guys :). Now I'm working on getting my roomate to install a replacement engine. He says he'll do it if I build him a Autotuba for his car. I'm game, just need to find me some tools.
