What's in your rack? ...and can you run an XLR to somewhere else in the room?

I have nothing to measure spl for the moment, the best would be a stand alone unit with a big illuminated display to put beside the dj table. And yes I can use 20 meter of cable if it would give me a good viewpoint of spl on the dancefloor! One of the most unprofessional club environments is one which don't have controll over their levels! But a rack unit would be fine if there are no standalone ones. What rack unit is it u have that reads db?

The Behringer DEQ has an SPL meter display but that's no good to you unless you can point it at someone's eyes.

Wow. That's almost worth driving up and down to Tilburg for

it's a lumber yard in gemert Anton, there's another one in boven leeuwen, they have a net price of €16,20 per 4 by 8 sheet. but then I have to wait until someone wants the rest of the pallet.

plus they don't want to quote a price for cutting up the sheets.

88H88, what are you running for crossover? Did you cross between the subs? If you have the DCX, it can do 2 x 3way - or my preference is using an Aux sub send, since it has a 3rd input as well. I've experimented with splitting between tubas and titans from 60hz - 80hz, and around 120hz to OT's.

I have a DCX2496 handling the crossover/limiting. I had the T60s running 25hz-60 and the T39s 60hz-100 and the OTs from there upwards. Both subs were on a 48db/octave filter where they met.

I still need to fiddle with the setup as it sounded pretty damn fine but I reckon with some tweaking it could be improved.
