Since the OT2x12 review opened many ears, here's an initial review of my unfinished OT3x12.
The speakers: 3 B&C 12PE32 speakers recently reconed myself and 15 Goldwood 1025 piezos.
The construction: Basic horn version (necked version shown in other review pics) fitted for 3x12's and OD measures 41"h x 22"w x 18"d. Unfinished because I have not cut out the port/handles, the low pass filter has not been added, speakons not attached and exterior has not been carpeted. This is all in the works.
The sound: Very very nice! The first thing I would like to point out is the clarity of the sound. On recorded music, every vocal and musical note was heard clearly even at high SPL and it was not harsh at all. On my 15 band EQ, I've raised the higher midrange to get really good sound, but remember, I have not installed the LP filter yet which takes care of that. After installing the LP filter and cutting out the 6 port holes, I probably wouldn't need any EQ at all!
In use: They were used above 1 Labsub. The Lab maxed out with program power 2000w. The OT3x12 connected to one side of an RMX2450 never ever saw the clip light come on. This is unusual to me because I almost always run my tops to the clipping point.
Thanks to Bill I'll be making a bunch of these in conjunction with 18 Labsubs.

Do yourself a favor and build a fleet of 3015LF loaded T48's instead. Labs are more weight and will be less manageable in more pack space. Check out the 4x comparison at http://billfitzmaurice.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=440. It's amazing that 4 T48's can equal 4 Labs in sensitivity and would reduce driver cost by 50% on top of the size and weight savings. If I'm reading the spec right, the Lab12's aren't nearly as accurate as the 3015LF either.
