Why did you install the amp inside the THT? You know the amp is NOT air tight, right? Now, you have introduced a substantial area for response killing air leaks, not to mention ground loop hums. Here's hoping it works out for you.

Hi Phatman. I have tested it and there is absolutely no air leaks and the amp is quiet as a mouse. You can't tell it's on.
I double and tripled check and the box is locked up tighter than Fort Knox even at the volume I tested it at everything
checked out good. The airtight gasket is doing it's job very well so far.

Did a little more work to the slim THT. I have rounded the corners and sanded the entire cab.
I still want to go over a couple of the sides to get them smoother.
I also tested the cab again as I just found out my first connection to the Dayton amp was not
correct. Though it sounded good I wanted to make sure I didn't have a bad connection from the
amp. I read the manual and realised that when you connect the receiver to the low-level connection
of the amp you have to connect both the left and right channel using a Y- cable. I only had the left
mono channel connected before. After I connected the cables the proper way I was not prepared for
the sound that came out of this Tuba HT. The bass was truly unbelivable and now I could only set the
gain at about 4 on the plate amp as any amount more could have things falling off the walls and shelves,
even my precious LCD screen hanging in drywall above my fireplace. The movie I tested with it this time
was "Underworld Evolution". You can feel the bass in your chest and everything was vibrating even the
couch. And I am glad to say still no leaks with this new power being introduced in the cab. I can officially
say that yes this is a Tuba and it's what everyone has been describing. Thanks Bill for designing this.
Now I need to finish up so I can start on two Tuba 60 Slims for my DJ setup.

You'll be the envy of all the local djs if you get those T60's up and running, no DJ I've seen/met in central California has bass of that caliber, not even the local rental companies (they tend to have low end pro gear). Good luck in all your future builds.

Thanks guys I will post pics of the cab's finished look eventually. Right now I am sanding the cab with 220 grit sandpaper and will coat the cab with
wood conditioner in preparation for it's face-lift.
