Another success! A copy of the final review ...
maxI used it in anger for the first time last night. I used a img class D 2 x 200w power amp (£135!) fed from the monitor out of the desk, vocals only as the 6.5 in speaker won't take low stuff. I was expecting a non hi-fi type sound as bill says it's designed to cut through the on stage noise so you can hear what you're doing.
I turned it on, and turned it up till it fed back, backed it off a bit and left it. It was in the middle front of stage. It was a nasel/boxy sound that singer found odd to start with BUT we could all hear it! The wide spread was remarkable, the drummer could hear his vox too. One little monitor sorted the whole band in one go. Nice! Another one would mean we could reduce the vol a bit but it's not an urgent requirement. I didn't use a graphic as i had said - no dosh! - but in fact didn't need it!
Very impressed - but we all knew i would be didn't we!
