I recalculated all my sheets and I am able to cut them to the new numbers, when you see te pictures after it is built you will be able to see what I did.

But A question to Bill: would it work if it where converted using 2.5 instead of 2.54?
Not two sheets!!!
Two panels, and I have the wood for that, there was enough leftover wood to make it :)

Now I want to build one using 1"=1cm and put a little driver in it! It would be 30"..er...30 cm long by 18 cm wide. Ooo, I have a new evil plan! Now to find a 3-5" high excursion driver and some 1/4" plywood!

Seriously.

Good idea, but its not so simple to mess with horn designs. For one, you've shortened the horn length meaning the horn cutoff frequency will be much higher.

Now that's a bit different, isn't it! Rounding off an inch to 2,5cm would result in the horn being about one inch shorter while changing to 1cm would shorten a seven foot horn by four foot.

Now, should I make a new thread with the pictures or just post them in this thread?

Depends, is it going to be in 2.50 or 2.54cm? ;)

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously, bring them on, right here, whatever size you choose to build it. More pics is more good 8)

I went with 2.678 just for the fun of it.
Naa just kidding, I did find a way to make it proper, and I hope that I will get the last panels in this evening, just had dinner and now it is time to work again.
Atm I have panel 5 installed, so not too many difficult panels left :D

I will post pictures when I get in from the workshop again :)

Don't rush the build. Make sure everything is square and that you have sufficient squeeze out.. Which glue are you using btw?

Take it slow and you'll get the best result.. Did you remember to testmount the woofer?

I am using a PU glue that expands.
This glue is actually quite drippy/runny/thin. But it is ok to work with most of the time.

I have not screwed the woofer to my baffle yet, but I have had the baffle lay on the driver and by eye reckoning seen that it would not hit.
I will be screwing the driver to the baffle tonight or tomorrow morning and then test it before I screw it in place.

The picture uploader sorts the pictures in reverse order!!

Well read part 1 from downwards and up and then read part 2 from downwards and up.

Panel 9 and the braces for panel are in place.
Panel 10 are in place, but not the bracers yet.

A conclusion on this build so far:
DON'T go with 17" wide panels. You will have to make two bracers :broke:
hehe, I can't imagine the difference from 16" wide panels to 17" wide panels would be that big - someone got some info on this?

I hope to get the cab done tomorrow before the BDay preparation begins.

Can you describe what you've got going on in these pictures? Unless the plans have changed, I don't remember anything like this in the Table Tuba plans that I have.
