Has anyone made stands for their SLA's?

#1 Post by But it Hertz »

I'm interested in seeing other peoples solutions to mounting their SLA's.

Was messing around in the shop today and came up with these. They are 19 inches tall and make the SLA's perfect eye height.

They aren't finished yet but I think I'll just go with some tung oil... I don't really like the color of the SLA's, too dark!

Also, pretend that center speaker is a curved SLA... it's a work in progress!

You could start off with something like this...

Then, move to something like this that is a little more stable. (25lbs of sand in the bottom of each)

May I suggest painting the wall behind your TV a dark color?

Churning out the punny stuff I see Bruce. You're really just trying to butter him up with that remark aren't you :loler:
