Times two... seeing as how it you have to have two of them to move 16 channels of audio (even though they are bidirectional)...
This might be useful in fixed installations where money isn't an issue and it would be desirable to have a matrix of channels available from several locations... but other than that, you can buy a whole lot of 16 channel snake for less than $4000, and it's more expensive than just about every other digital snake product on the market, especially given that it doesn't interface with any one particular mixer.
