The panels should be fine. The tricky angled ones came out great, should definitely hold air once I put some gasket tape on the inset. The outside panel is very straight forward.

More sanding in the heavy coat today and a thin coat of lacquer - have to really thin it down when it is 40°F out, probably close to 3X as much thinner as I would use at 70°F.
The help showed up late last night, ready for some finishing action.
He showed up with only shorts and t-shirts from California, so the 40°F of the spray room was a little chilly. Dads old sweat pants with the worn out elastic and missing drawstring were not cutting it.
Tried a closeup to show how the combination of the 180 grit sand job and very thin lacquer still showed some scratch marks. Don't think you can tell from the photo though. But it is good to see a little more detail so far.
