my new tlah's

#1 Post by ketoet »

Hello

I finally finished my tlah's last week. It's been over 2 years since i orded the parts from leland. I like the way they turned out. Even the girlfriend likes them.
Now how do they sound? In 1 word: amazing. It's a gigantic difference with the hifi speakers they replaced.very clear sound even at stupid high volumes . I feel i can finally hear what the soundproducers meant me to hear. I now also can hear what the actors are saying wich is very helpfull if you want to follow the story. The volumesettings could also be lowered quite a bit ( from 25 to 17) to get the same overall sound .
I'm really glad i finallly took the time to finish them.
Even my girfriend is impressed and believe me that's not easy to do. I'll try to post some pic's of them .

shlick. good lookin' cabs.

How do you like the projection and beam control throughout the room. I'm sure it gives great stereo image too. That's what you get with the line arrays.

Great job.

well i'm kind of a perfectionist and i'm the one who painted them so i know where all the faults are.
but when i sit in the sofa i it's impossible to see them  .

when i first put them up in the corners the standard built in angle wasn't enough
to aim the 'beam' of the tweeters correctly. ounce the cabs were angled a bit more down it made a world of difference.
all the effects are cristal clear. the sound is great in all 3 seating places in the sofa.
especially when playing games on my ps3 it's just that much more fun with the volume turned up a bit.
off corse that can only happen when the girlfriend is out :D .
all in al i'm very very pleased with my new speakers and i'm trying to convince my parents to let me
install a pair over there to. because their ears aren't ass good anymore they can't hear the conversations very well
and have to turn up the volume a lot.
i can't wait to build the next addition to my home theater :hyper:
