Thanks! I put Proflex silicone clear caulking one the back of the logo and pressed it against the grill making sure it went through and around the grill holes and then let it dry before putting the grill on. Not really sure how it will work, there probably is a better way. Im hoping to finish everything up with in the next week.

Does anyone have an SPL chart for the OT12 JArray? Or is It exactly the same as the OT12? I have finished 5 of these and they sound a little different than my OT12, they sound better in my opinion. Maybe I am delusional but to me they sound smoother. Im not really sure how to explain it has anyone else noticed anything similar? Anyhow these boxes sound Amazing!! I have a question the driver I chose was a delta pro12a, and while trying to fit it in the box I had to cut a little round spot in the top back brace to allow the driver to fit down in the box. I rechecked my measurements because I thought I must have done something a little wrong but they matched the sketchup model. Will this affect anything?

Which brace??? I looked at the descriptions in the plans, and I'm not sure how to exactly respond. I'll guess that it should be no problem to add the notch.

The top is the one I chose. Its where the back attaches too the box. I have read the plans time and time again but did not want to ask a dumb question. It looks like the plans call for those to be 1" wide and where the driver hits it needs to have a 1/4" notch taken out. Do drivers vary a little in size?

I think you are talking about the flanges, and if so, then it is no problem at all. Just make sure that you get a good seal with the gasket tape.

With the large frame of the Delta Pro it may need some relief, but not enough to be a problem.

Great thank you both. I did not think I would matter but just wanted to double check.

Yesterday our church had a hog roast and the osu football game on the big screen and I had all 4 T48s complete along with 6 of the OT12jarrays for the sound system. After I got everything hooked up, set limiters, took some quick RTA measurements into smaart and did what I could with the Eq I had.... we decided to turn it up a little. Both tops and subs are amazing!!! I could not believe how clear everything sounded and how well it covered the whole listening area. Then I listened to a few of my recordings and I could hear some of the small things I can usually only hear on my studio monitors. You could feel the kick and bass through out the whole 8000sqft building, and the bass was so clean I am more than pleased with everything. The subs were underpowered too, I cant wait until we get some new amps. Would 2 QSC GX5 be a good choice for the t48s? I will have to separate the subs on the final install and i was thinking 2 t48s per gx5 1 per channel. We have 2 crown ce2000 that I will use for the ot12s 2 per channel. The array brackets are in the process of being made and hopefully here in a couple weeks the building will be finished the system will be installed and we can have service. Once they are installed I will take some good pics and post them. Here is the quick set up. The stage will go right where the subs and tops are setting and we will treat the walls as needed with tectum.

I'm assuming you are using the premium speakers....

Yes, the GX5 will handle 'em ok. 500 watts a side at 8 ohms should let you limit them and have a little head room.

A GX7 would let you do two a side and just use one amp. But having two amps would let you double up if one cratered on you.

Wonderful!

The sub stack looked funny to me, so I had to study the photo to finally figure out that you put angles on the top corners of your T48s.

Amazing!
The space makes the cabs look small, bet they didn't sound small though :)
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

They get pretty stinking loud! The shell of the building is just a pole barn with metal on the walls and roof. and when you go outside it sounds like a car with bass that is rattling so bad its going to fall apart haha. I bet the neighbors are going to love us even more! The system sounds much bigger than it appears. Does anyone have suggestions for how much tectum should be applied to the room and location. Since the ceiling is vynl backed insulation i was not going to worry about putting any there. I was planning on putting 1 - 1"thick 2'x4' sheet every 8' about 5' off of the floor all the way around the building. I am not sure how much chairs will help but there will be 250 padded chairs in the room as well. Right now the room is very reflective if you hit a snare drum it sounds like its bouncing back and fourth. What else might I do to diffuse some of the reflections?
