Although I get the feeling OP isn't a native English speaker, it's not like other languages don't use sentences and paragraphs.
I would be very wary of replacing with anything other than the original equipment driver unless you can get the Thiele-Small specs for it and compare possible substitutes.
Not knowing the excursion limit of your replacemnt driver is a problem but you can probably infer it from xmax and thermal rated power as we do on odd drivers for our subs. Perhaps B52 would help you out too.
Since you don't need sub 40hz you may as well highpass there. This will lessen the chances of overexcursion. Setting the limiter on your processor for something conservative would help too.
Reconing may not be timely enough by the sounds of it.

Re: v3 subs
Hey John,
No way ever do you have to apologise for being dyslexic!
I know a number of people who can only spell and write phonetically.
It's not at all uncommon for dyslexics to write phonetically and they concentrate so much on the words that grammar and sentence structuring go out the window.
Occassionaly some here get wrapped up in such things (not pointing fingers, I do it myself at times as well), and in the greater scheme of life, the universe and everything, it's no big deal.
The only important thing was that we could help you, in some way.
Great price you have found on your drivers. If your friend can get them for you at wholesale that's awesome!
Best price I found was $266US.
If you ever want to do more folded horns, you know where you can come too. Since you can build them yourself, you can save some dollars, and your back
All the best!
