T39 x 20 x 3012LF Super Lite ( with DR250s )
Re: T39 x 20 x 3012LF Super Lite ( with DR250s )
Apologies for any confusion caused, Harley. No ill intent whatsoever. The resemblance was just striking, for me. Absolutely gorgeous place. I don't fancy looking at the XP desktop theme on my computer screen every day, but to have your friend's view from my bedroom or living room window every day, wow....

No need to apologise and none taken. I just didn't join the dots. My fault entirelyAntonZ wrote:Apologies for any confusion caused, Harley. No ill intent whatsoever.

Unbelievable view Harley. Our farm is right next to a beefarm and I interact with the little guys constantly. Totally harmless unless one has ill intent. They definitely react to sound, and seem to prefer the best in life and music, as a little bee should.

It's not mine, it's my friend's. Once I get my ear plug problems sorted out and can gig again, I'll be getting one. They are &*^%ing amazing!rec wrote:Harley, how are you liking the Mackie DL1608?

Any comparison to the Presons line, those seem to be the two choices that I am down to.
I have not laid hands on the Mackie yet. I like having the tacticle feel of the presonus buttons & sliders.
Do you miss that on the mackie?

Going by the way my friend ran the thing, it looked like the difference between moving from string to selloptape to warp up parcels.

Great place. My nearest house is 1mile but I live in Lincs England so we get the wind and rain Booooooo!
Only built 1 T39 for a mate no driver so never heard the end result, shame, but my T60's are great! and the T30' are better.

Major hijack here but since you're interested, and not above the odd hijack hijinks yerself:Harley wrote:It's not mine, it's my friend's. What sort of processing can it do? Compression, high passing, effects, aux sends? Enough stuff that would make a SAC rig less desirable, channel count aside?
BAT10, Bad Auto Tuba. Reverse folded TAT to fit JBL 1014D, 350W driver, voltage limit unknown.

It took some digging but this review answered some questions:
http://www.harmonycentral.com/docs/DOC-2676
If it had another ten channels I would be in like a robbers dog.

For the groups I am likely to play in in the future, the DL1608 will be more than enough for me.Gregory East wrote:It took some digging but this review answered some questions:

For the groups I play in I don't need a new mixer at all. The rig is a different story. I should make some more efforts to get it used for DJ stuff to gather some funds for getting the live thing going. The DJ stuff doesn't interest me very much.
