I'm doing my first build and ran into an area where I need just a bit of PL applied. Since I have 6 kids in the house, all ages 10 and under we have an abundance of oral syringes used for medication so I snagged a few. They worked GREAT. You can run a very small bead (say 1/16" in diameter) and it's very easy to control. The biggest down side is that you have to refill them frequently if you're working on a long run. They only hold about 12ml max, or just over 2 teaspoons. Still, they worked wonderfully in small areas where a caulking gun would be overly cumbersome. You can get them at Wal-Mart or any pharmacy for under a buck.
