I've not used one much, but I bought one for ripping down OSB sheathing on the job site. I think it required more practice, as it seemed to always bind/pinch on me because my hands don't work well together... One side was always pushing a bit more than the other. Personally, if I weren't fortunate enough to have two cabinet saws at my disposal, I would rather use a clamp-on luaun guide. If you have a buddy with a table saw, one of these could be made for your circular saw for a few dollars. My $0.02.

I got one this weekend. Its great for breaking down sheet goods! I was able to set up 2 work horses and break down 4x8 sheets myself SAFELY. I will never do this on the tablesaw again. The very ends of cuts are a little (under a 16th) wobbly, but like everything else, you practice on scrap first, then move on to primetime.

Unless your table saw has 5ft in and out feed tables
