Oh...my

#1 Post by Tim A »

I finally got to use the sub last night with the DR250's.

Unfreakingbelievable.

The kick drum just filled the room. Not obnoxious, but there. Full, thick, solid, it lacked nothing. The 250's were breathtaking, so clear and crisp.

This was a single 12LF loaded T39, wall loaded, and a pair of 250's run through the T39's passive crossover. One side of a QSC RMX 1450 amp, Behringer 15 band EQ, and Behringer Xenyx board. Easily the best sounding system I've ever played through. The EQ settings were as close to David Perry's photo as possible with only 15 bands, then tweaked by ear. I do plan on upgrading to a 31 band unit.

I was planning on building a second T39, but I don't think I need one for the places we play. Audience was about 120, pretty typical for us. In a larger venue or outdoors, a second one would be needed along with an active crossover.

Thrilled. You guys sitting on the fence, jump off with both feet. You'll be happier than a pig in shit.

22", and it a perfect width. It'll go through any door and is easy to load and unload.
