Right I'll go totally off topic with ya lol
I'm at work. Night shift in the hospital. Last week was 30 years since I started my training and I'm proud of some of the things I've done in that career. An interesting adaptation of some of that life will come up in my current build thread in the next week or so. Other than that, it's the gig that pays my bills...
We have had quite a number of largish earthquakes on the eastern side of Oz in the last few months.
Built:
DR 250: x 2 melded array, 2x CD horn, March 2012 plans.
T39's: 4 x 20" KL3010LF , 2 x 28" 3012LF.
WH8: x 6 with melded array wired series/parallel.
Bunter's Audio and Lighting "like"s would be most appreciated...

Congratulations.

I take my hat off to those who work in Hospitals, it seems it's often a thankless task that the public take for granted or abuse.

Anyhooooo....back on topic, my tee nuts never spin.

Yep, as long as your T nuts never spin, and everything that is meant to spin, like drills and saw blades, does, all is good :)

If I'm ever a famous rapper, I'm going to embed the phrase "my t-nuts never spin" in my flow.

Harley,

I owe you an apology. When I saw this post before I started building my T30s, I thought " naah, I don't need to worry about that... those T-nuts that I have will be fine, they got nasty big pointy teeth and won't slip, I know better than the bloke who has been building these things for ages!"... I think you all know what happened next! :owned: Luckily I was only slap testing at the time, so was able to whack in a few screws and get the thing out. The 'teeth' had all bent underneath itself and it wasn't gripping on anything. I have now put in at least 2 screws per nut, and usually 3, and another layer of epoxy doesn't hurt either :) Thanks for the tip Harley. :D
Unfortunately as this is my 2nd box, I haven't been able to add the screws on the 1st. If they do decide to let go :fingers: I am going to have to chop the box to get access. :wall: Probably just leave the driver in there!
So to recap...
+1 on Harley's T-nut securing method, especially the screw bit and I cede to your greater building powers Mr. H!
