BP102 would work.

There's a reason why we only use BP102s as subs in our cabs. It's clearly seen on the manufacturer data sheet.

Are you referring to the nose-dive at 2kHz? I'll agree it's certainly not full-range by any stretch, but I don't know that it rules it out of the running. If you use a tweeter (or specifically don't use a tweeter for the so called "vintage" sound), it may even work out in favor.

Yup. And by coincidence, that's about where the J10 horn produces a big response hump. At first glance, it would seem like a good (complimentary) combination, but you have said the BP102 is not suitable for the J10. Can you elaborate?

To get back on topic, I agree with previous postings re: 410s. They're widely available for less than build-cost, and the design is flawed. Don't see a good reason to build one unless you want the speakers in a vertical rather than square array.
