First gig with a dual lab12 T60

Wow, how tall of a bed do you guys have?! I have my bed resting about 4'' off the ground, so it probably wouldn't work...

About 20 inches to the top of my mattress, otherwise I'd never be able to literally rise every morning.

The rule is never mix sub designs in the same band pass. If you are giving them different frequencies, that's ok.

Never mix any cabs or even drivers in the same pass band. There's nothing to be gained in so doing, while their different phase and time responses can give very poor results.

Yes, because the horn pathway is the same length, so phase response is the same.

i think the people that do it just do it to be rebellious! apparently they want to use the sensitivity of titans with the lows of the tubas... but theres no gain with the titans because it should be flat response! you dont want +6 db at 50 hz and up, because it would drown out the lows. what you would have to do is make sure the levels are equal, so then your only ahead by saving wattage. but then you'd save more wattage just runing a 1 way bass system. not to mention the packspace... "just because you can doesn't mean you should" as my dad would say

I'm thinking two t60 slims v-plated with minor woodworking additions AS the bed.

Slightly OT; could two subs in a separate pass band be used to weed out room modes? I've had that rolling around in my head as an option for fixing a bad room, and it seems like with proper planning it would work, but what the hell do I know.

Dave, can 1 person move that with casters on the other side? I'm all about saving wood, and if I don't have to split it I'm all for it!

We haven't done any of the T60212 like Dave but the 27" 15 version is incredibly light and easy for one person to move in/out, up/down, provided the handles are on all corners as they should be. Use Lelands heavy recessed casters, very nice.

No not at 27", even residential doorways can handle it.
