Well, it's all coming along nicely. Have the bathroom and workshop framed. Bathroom is plumbed except for the toilet (had to move drain and waiting for cement to dry). Joists on the bathroom are in place and fastened. Joists above the workshop are in place and are awaiting to be fastened on one end. (Hopefully tonight.)

This week should bring sheetrock to the bathroom walls and sub-flooring above the bathroom and workshop to create the loft. It's been a crazy (and expensive) two weeks. I can't wait to be finished and settled in so I can return to building speakers again!

While you are in construction mode, level the floor. If it is all concrete, consider in-floor heating. Double & triple check the wiring schematics & layout for loads and separation of service, such as lights on their own circuits, dedicated circuits for heavy draw machines, etc. Put outlets everywhere, even if you think you might not need it.

Oh yeah, there will be outlets every 4-6 feet along every workshop wall and every wall on it's own circuit and lights on their own as well. Separate circuits for air compressor and dust collection also. The heat is radiant from above. (floor heat just too expensive)

Here is the current view of the workshop within the shop. This is where all the cutting will take place. Not all the lights are installed yet or is vac system... And it's too messy to get a Harley award already...
