I am having few 6.5" drivers and looking to utilize them in Tapped horn for sub applications.
I am not well versed with using HornResp, kindly Guide.
Dear moderator as I did not have any idea where to post this thread, If its not in place kindly Move it to appropriate place.

Re: Guidance for Using 6.5" driver in Tapped Horn.
You won't find much info on tapped horns with this board. This board supports Bill's designs and he doesn't do tapped horns. The boxes he designed use drivers with specific T/S parameters. When selecting what you want to build you first choose the box that meets your needs then obtain the driver with the correct specs. Btw welcome.
Builds:
T-39
DR 280
Wedgehorn 8
Omni 12
SLA
TAT
TLAH experimental

Do you have T/S specs for your drivers?
If it were me, I would just build an Autotuba and try it. I doubt it would sound as good as using the recommended MCM 8" ($30) driver, but it would be cool to have a sub rocking the car with only a 6 1/2" woofer. Actually, it may do okay with 2 drivers in there. If it doesn't work you may be able to modify the baffle for an 8".

2 THTs, 2 TLAH, SLA curved, 1 8-AT, 1 AT JBL 1002D, 4 Otop12s, Jack 12, TT with Eminence 10", 2 SLAs, 1 T30 slim, 2 T30s (2-10" each), SLA Pros, TrT.

Thank You friends.
Yes I have the Ts parameters.
Wanting to use the woofer for car as well as Home. I saw Folded Tapped horn using tang band 6.5: drivers at http://www.volvotreter.de So wanted to do tapped horn. One sub per channel.

From the OPs link:
Welcome Viki, whether you build one of Bills designs or go with a tapped horn, I hope you stick around here for a while, learn and contribute what you can from all us other addicts of horns.
As for help with tapped horns as it was mentioned, these are forums for Bills designs so although there may be members that may be able to help don't expect much on the open forums as it would go against the point of these forums, supporting BFD horns. Maybe try to see if Tom Danley will jump on and help you at his forums, he does tapped horns.
They got that right.Warning:
Goverment studies have proven horn loudspeakers are addicting and may lead to intense, uncontrollable musical bliss.

Re: Guidance for Using 6.5" driver in Tapped Horn.
I just built that 38Hz tapped horn myself. It's a very cool project, and from my experience, it's the real deal -- with caveats.
You will be impressed by the output of that tiny 6.5" driver, but it does quickly run out of steam. I tested it in my home theater room (about 600 sq. ft.) and played some THX demos. It was distorting before I was done turning it up. It sounded fantastic, it just wouldn't go as loud as I wanted.
It doesn't have the ultra LF tactile response of a larger sub, which you would probably want with a HT sub, but it sounds great with music. So maybe in a car, it would be a good fit -- assuming you listen at moderate levels. (I haven't tried this myself, for lack of a 12v amp, but I might drop it in my trunk with an extension cord for fun.) Be careful, though. Horns tend to mask the sounds of a distressed driver. Being a tapped horn with the driver exposed, you can hear distortion, but from across the room it was much harder to tell. (I didn't realize I had exceeded its max excursion until I got closer.) From the front of your car, you may not hear when it's maxed out.
I didn't stuff the box or line the insides with absorption material. I really wish I had. Sometimes you can hear the ~100-500Hz chamber resonances and it sounds terrible. I'll be putting a plate amp in the back, so I'll line it when I rout out the hole. Unless you drive a hatchback, that may not matter to you.
One last thing: Use a 12dB / octave minimum LPF below 100Hz. It's very sensitive in the midbass region, and you don't want that. I built a Sallen-Key variable filter, which limits me to 2nd order unless I want to try and find a 4-gang pot. It's barely enough for my tastes. 18 or 24dB would've been better, but the designer does recommend using a coil as a passive 6dB filter @ 100Hz as well, so I might try that.
