I've learnt " He whom talketh appendage frequent, most often lacketh"

Build, convey and most importantly PUMP that wonderful TT of yours Bassmonster and do it with pride as it is a testament to your dedication, acquisition of skill & knowledge and primal Masculine instinct to Build loud stuff

It goes on today after school! Then as soon as my Duratex arrives from Leland, the mouth will be painted red, the mouth braces will be painted and installed, and the whole thing will be sanded and Duratex'd.

Who said I was insecure about my manhood? I just wondered where it came from. I've read it on pretty much every youtube video that has any kind of car audio in it. They must be jealous.

I think it's a primal instinct that men like loud and fast things. The Forester certainly has enough speed (built on an Impreza frame, same engine and drivetrain, different body style and interior). Now I just need to finish the "loud" part.

OMG the colour scheme! Forgot about that! As if a dual loaded table tuba in a hatchback isn't enough! Fantastic! Bassmonster, man, this kind of crazy I like! Reespek! :chainsaw:

Excactly why I wrote it.. I know it would bug me, even though it doesnt really make a difference.. Can't wait to see more pictures of the side coming on :)

+ 1 Do it the smart way, once the final side is on, PL happily drying, go see your family G.P. and tell him you've got Gastro, he'll give you a certificate for the day, which you will use ever so wisely finishing off your cabs! Your Dad will understand - perhaps. As long as the only habit you form is speaker building.

Either way OH MY GOD ITS ALMOST FINISHED I'm feeling just as excited as you probably are. Take it slowly all the same

While we're dishing out stupid advice- that thing will be heavy enough to hold the 2nd side on underneath.

Or not. Stay in school!!!

Ran out of PL. :wall: :cussing: Also, I have to leave directly out of town after school tomorrow and won't get back till Sunday. :wall: :cussing: Then, I won't have time on Sunday cause I'll be loaded up with homework. :wall: :cussing: I might have time during the week. This beast won't be done till next week. :wall: :cussing:

So abort mission for now and the side isn't on. Oh well. Better than skimping on the PL and having a leak after it's all dry.

Thats a bummer. On the bright side, everything happens for a reason (I believe) now you have the extra time to triple check all the internal joints, twice.

Working to a deadline sucks anyway, being forced to relax and take a time out can only assist the eventuation of an A1 Build.

Seems I am the only one concerned for the sate of the sealing after you rogered up that Tnut bolt.

Maybe this is your opportunity to do something about it. I got a cunning plan if you're interested. It would be worth another thread: "Should I be concerned about my munted T-Nut?" Not everyone follows mega build threads.

I've seen it in another build thread and nothing negative came from it, but I might do something different. I already filled the nut hole with PL, and PL'd all around even on the driver, so I suppose it's too late anyway? I tightened down the drivers with significant force, enough to make me worry about stripping another hurricane nut if I tightened it any more.

I might start a thread next week, as I won't be home till then, I'm at school now and leaving directly after out of town and won't get a chance to take a picture till Sunday.
