I suspect not, but I'm cheap, so I had to ask.

upgrade to CD?
Off the wall question, couldn't figure out where to post it, so here goes. A year or so ago, I bought THT LP plans, built a pair, very happy with them. Then an SLA plan, then a TLAH plan. I really should have just bought the CD in the first place, but didn't know I'd get bit. Is there any way for me to "upgrade" to the CD?

Only within 30 days of the original purchase.fitzwaddle wrote:Off the wall question, couldn't figure out where to post it, so here goes. Re: upgrade to CD?
I did about the same thing as you did, fitzwaddle. Never regretted the purchase of the first few plans separately, nor have I regretted paying full price for the CD afterwards. The first purchases got me started and built confidence for the rest. It's all good value, in my opinion.
Re: upgrade to CD?
Same here. I ordered THT, SLA, and TLAH plans, then bought the whole CD. No regrets from me! For that price, it is completely worth it for if only for the many, many hours of entertainment. Not to mention the great feeling of hearing your own work crush the competition.
2 THTs, 2 TLAH, SLA curved, 1 8-AT, 1 AT JBL 1002D, 4 Otop12s, Jack 12, TT with Eminence 10", 2 SLAs, 1 T30 slim, 2 T30s (2-10" each), SLA Pros, TrT.

Thanks Bill, Anton and baja - I'll just shell out for the CD when I'm ready for my next build (perhaps DR200, or an O Top, not sure yet). Still have to finish my TLAHs.

+1 on AntonZ and baja.AntonZ wrote:I did about the same thing as you did, fitzwaddle. I bought, I think, three sets of plans before the CD.
The individual plans are like starter bags. Once Bill has you hooked, you gotta go wholesale and start dealing to support the habit!
Re: upgrade to CD?
I own 6 plans all together (bought separately at different times). That's around $90 total. At $100 the CD is a bargain.
