Amp for single Tuba24?

#1 Post by Duesler »

I have a single tuba 24 (Eminence Legend BP102 10" Bass Guitar Driver) and i need to power it. (24x24x24). All i need from the amp is to power this single speaker; i am running a LFE channel out of my 2.1 amp into the Tuba's amp.

What amp should i buy?
Thanks

When you say 2.1 are you referring home stereo? What price range? Intended use? More info is needed.

Without a sub highpass you would be treading dangerous ground. Full power and movies, for example, will put out house shakey stuff well below 40Hz and poor little bp102 would go byebye on you.
BAT10, Bad Auto Tuba. Reverse folded TAT to fit JBL 1014D, 350W driver, voltage limit unknown.
