modular LED grids ??
modular LED grids ??
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some professional quality modular LED grids.
I saw a couple of acts using a type of modular LED setup that was composed of 10+ panels. The details were stunning. They were able to chain them so they could display as a single screen that ALMOST looked like a low resolution projector screen.
I'm assuming that there is a specific software program that run these and probably through midi ??
anything helps
thanks

Yes, must avoid.
I have all the parts to build 196 channels of controllers sitting in a box. For 2 years now.

Re: modular LED grids ??
After looking at some youtube videos of the "LEDTriks" i'm thinking this is too basic for what I was imagining.
So I guess I do want "video" quality LED panels because those LEDtriks are little more than store-front signs from what I can tell.
AND after looking at the pricing JUST for the rentals
its quickly becoming apparent that the more practical approach would be to get a high quality projector or two with a screen or two.
Going to do a "VJing" search ...

Could do what I did and get 4 70" Sharp LED TV's and link them together to make 1 display. Couple truss sections, 4 mounts, good to go.

Yeah, I have 8 led monitors that I use for club nights. Can't believe the price they charge for the big video screens when the price of proper monitors is so low. :/
