Hehe yea, its pretty immense.. They might have less extension than the T30 but they sure make up for it in massive spl!

How many volts were going through them?

Well most of the room had this much bass.. There were a few room modes with less bass as its a pretty small room with concrete walls.. In the corners the bass hit even harder than on the bar.. All in all everyone thought it was amazing..

The titans are 24" with LAB12's and in the video they are fed around 35-40volts as the limiter kicks in occasionally.. I limit them to 40 volts as my amp can't provide more than 43 volts anyways..

I'm amazed by the amount of bass coming out of these subs and the omnitop12's really need to work hard to keep up.. What impresses me the most is the clarity of sound even when playing at war volume!

Tomorrow they will be used in a much larger room with a live band.. Can't wait to hear them with live music! :)

yea i played down on me by 50 cent, and it hit the lows of that song, corner loaded in my unfinished basement, not sure if it was cabin gain, but if it hits that low in a larger area then i will be quite pleased (in my mind i would be like ooohh shi*, im da man!) :)
Before Fitzmaurice, big bass could only be had with just a hook and a nightcrawler.

I hate it when the limiter lights flash. It just seems wrong... I always make sure my poor DCX doesn't have to worry and turn down a little.

I wasnt in charge of the music nor the volume - though I do have the final say - always!

I was just inside the bar for a quick spin and saw that the limiters were doing exactly what they were supposed too :)

+1 Mine is set to limit at about 45 volts and I don't recall seeing it engage at a job yet...nice to know it's there though.

Awesome video man. Now you need to add two more to your v plate stacked corner load. :hyper:

I've limited the subs at 40 volt and the tops at 25 and people here love loud music - and most are blown away with the sound quality even though we're playing really loud in the bar...

Thanks man.. I'm not going to add a second pair to this setup as its not mine but a permanent install at my university.. However, I'm contemplating building a system and start DJ'ing.. I did a bit of DJ'ing some years back and with a lot of new found knowledge and BFM cabs, I'm sure I would rival even the best of DJ's around here in sound quality.. Then Im dreaming about building more cabs and perhaps become an authorized builder, as there is none in scandinavia and most dj's/bars sound like crap here :)

In that case they should build about 4-6 more and leave them in the corner...woohoo!
