+100 absolutely. I'm really excited to start my next two Tuba 30's. I was hoping last week, but that didn't happen, so maybe today I can at least start something. Good luck man!

Wow, those boxes are trashed. Surprised nothing's broken.
If it's too loud, you're even older than me! Like me.

+1 Sometimes it seems like shipping people just drop-kick the boxes into the truck and planes.

I reckon most of it happened this end as the packages were opened, sealed, and re-opened for customs inspections as each stage of the paperwork was completed. They arrived Beijing via Anchorage in less than 4 days from your despatch. Since then they haven't travelled far at all. Just been ripped open and resealed several times.

There is some damage, for example the ends of a couple of the PL tubes have been busted up a bit but it's all cosmetic far as I can make out. The templates being down the sides and the steel recessed handles being on the bottom protected the heavier parcel, no doubt.

Thanks for the careful packing. I have done my fair share of vacation warehouse jobs. I know fine packing when I see it! :D

And I appreciate the care. Thank you very much!

Will test piezos (obviously). Xovers looked ok on first inspection.

That method of shipping would never work for me. I have a strict process:

1) Fret for five days on what I need to order.
2) Add a gazillion items to my cart.
3) Wince at size and cost of order, but hit 'submit'.
4) Immediately remember exactly one $2 item I forgot to add.

:loler:

You forgot the most important factor: Leland! :D

He's been putting up with my dithering and changes of plans for around 2 years!

These packages were the result of a long and very lax process! :slap: :noob:
